No matter how many times we hear it, having a client call us and tell that they love our work is one of the experiences that we treasure the most . Getting the confirmation that we are doing a good job at  telling stories of our clients’ special moments in a compelling way is just the boost we need to keep pushing our boundaries of creativity. So, after the first conversation with Lindsay we were ecstatic; and that feeling of excitement has only grown since then. Since Lindsay and Mark have been engaged for a while, they weren’t really planning to do an engagement shoot. However, after talking to us and looking through some more of our engagement portfolio, they decided that it would be fun to meet and take a few shots. So, , despite the frigid weather, we met up in Dumbo, one of our favorite locations to shoot engagement sessions.  One of the best things about an engagement session is just the opportunity to meet the couple and talk to them about their plans for the big day, the way their journey started and about the people that make their world revolve. This, we find, really paves the way for a fulfilling experience on the wedding day, helping us capture the essence of the people and the moments in the best way. So we spent some time, sipping the goodness of freshly brewed coffee in a windy, cold afternoon to talk over their plans for the upcoming wedding. And all we can tell now is that we are absolutely psyched to cover this adorable couple’s wedding next summer at the Hempstead House, Port Washington!
