When Caitlin came across our work (through this wedding we covered in Perona Farms last year) she loved our storytelling style. When she reached out, Nuva and I set up a session to talk all things wedding photography! Within 5 minutes, we knew working with Dave and Caitlin would be a great experience. They are a fun-loving and humble couple who have keen eyes for interesting light and vivid colors. Vivid colors and interesting lighting is what we’re all about (those plus capturing timeless moments!). So this match of wedding couple and photographers had to happen!

Caitlin decided to get the engagement shoot done in Fort Tryon, a somewhat under celebrated (at least photography – wise)and underutilized park with intriguing architecture that provides some amazing composition opportunities. Our initial excitement turned into a mini shock when we found out that photographing in/near the Cloisters wasn’t allowed. However, the creative opportunities at Fort Tryon are endless, so we simplify moved on toward Linden Terrace (within the park). The sunset view by Fort Tryon is one of the best in NYC area, so we just had to stay till sunset!
