It was an absolute joy photographing the wedding of  Moch and Shru. Being NYC based wedding photographers, we love every opportunity to venture out of the city. So the drive to get to the venue, Perona Farms | NJ Wedding Venue, was rather refreshing. The snow showered landscape made me feel like we were going to see the unfolding of a fairy tale in a magical land!  As it turned it, we did in fact witness the unfolding of a fairy tale; a tale of the confluence of two amazing souls. And, of course, we did what we do best- document the story of the people, of the emotions and of the occasion!

One interesting aspect of this wedding, photography wise, is that you won’t find a single glamour shot nor will you get any “posed couple” shot. While I personally quite enjoy the fine art aspect of couple shots, playing with external lights etc. a wedding is ultimate a collection of defining moments.  Moments that are captivating, that are defining and that are oozing withe the energy and emotions of the day. Moch, when he contacted me, made it very clear that he loved our photo journalism wedding photography approach. “No poses but candids…lots if ’em” – and I knew what we had to do! So here it is, some glimpses from an amazing day when everything, from the memorable delivery of Celia Milton (NJ wedding officiant) to the celebration of culture resulted in a memorable wedding.
