As wedding photographers, we've always tried to acquire and be adept in the art of telling stories. With that, comes the responsibility of taking photographs of the details, decor and other items of emotional value of the bride and groom. After all, they have spent a lot of time and energy, and often have a lot of attachment and memories with this items. Here is a detail shot of the wedding ring which we photographed during the getting ready portion of the wedding.
It took both of us to create this shot. As I was framing the photo, Nuva held the light to make sure we could get the right exposure. Since this was inside the hotel room where we had very little ambient light and the wall colors were not very bright (earth tones), we had to improvise. We found an ideal backdrop to set the rings in in order to get flattering bokeh/out of focus circles. This ring shot is a good example of the details we strive to capture in all of our weddings.
